Supersonic Blues Machine is set to release their brand new album, ‘Road Chronicles’, their first live album, following the release of two acclaimed records, ‘West of Flushing, South of Frisco’ (2016), and ‘Californisoul’ (2017). This record follows the band on their triumphant first European headline tour.

Recorded in Brugnera, Italy in July 2018, this was the final show of a 10 date tour that started at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London and took them through Switzerland, Poland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain and finally bassist Fabrizio Grossi’s native Italy. The legendary Billy F. Gibbons joined the band throughout the tour putting in the stunning performances that you would expect for such an icon. Also, this was the first tour to feature fast-rising UK blues-rocker Kris Barras on lead vocals and guitar.

The set list for this performance weaves through the bands entire discography, along with some ZZ Top classics and surprises thrown in. “The beauty of this band is that as we always mix things up on stage. Whether it’s a guest appearance, or a cover song, our music takes unexpected turns and shapes every night we play,” says Grossi. “The funny thing is,” remembers Grossi, “we weren’t planning on making a live record. The recordings we were capturing were just for me to study and evaluate at the end of the tour. Since there weren’t any plans to record the show at the time, we approached it like any other show, and things just fell into place. It just felt perfect,” continues Grossi. “The cheers, noises and crazy antics people do when they come to see us. It was an extremely humbling experience.”
