A Newbury Comics exclusive colored vinyl pressing.
The band (which included the inimitable Jonathan Richman, along with future members of The Cars and The Talking Heads) recorded this album way back in 1971 with some tracks produced by (former Velvet Underground member) John Cale, only to see the album go unreleased until 1976, by which point this stellar lineup disbanded. Record company turmoil and band politics aside, this is one of the best rock'n'roll records in the world. You may already know "Roadrunner" ("Radio On!"), but do yourself a favor and check out all the other classics on this album... "Pablo Picasso", "Hospital", "Old World"... perfect song after perfect song.
